kva white hitop with strap aw11
I wrote about the low cut version before some time ago, wondering whether the strap is a redundancy in the design. Lately I found the high cut version in white at ForwardForward.

The classic velcro Raf Simons sneakers in autumn winter tone, dark brown. TheCorner has this now. Raf shoes are always steep in price, sadly.

neil barrett ss11 sandals
Another fabulous loot from sales. I have been eyeing on this pair of Neil Barrett hybrid sandals for quite some time. Having it acquired is just a matter of timing. I was in Bangkok in July and saw the full black leather version at Club21 Thailand Erawan, and I still could find my size at the time! I tried on but I decided not to make my purchase then because the leather was 'biting' the back of my ankle quite badly. So I thought maybe the sandals was not really meant for me. Later I noticed this bi-material version with suede and yes, it is softer than the leather portion and not causing any pain to my ankle. I see no more excuse to not buying this pair of gorgeous sandals.

As I mentioned before, if there is a possibility, I would like to "take both". Well the time has come and now I have made it realised. I could never resist sales!

dior homme blue high cut
Another great hunt from sales SS11. Dior Homme Blue Hi-tops in leather and canvas. This high-cut design is something I don't have and it is good to own one. You can find the AW11 full leather version at Luisaviaroma now too, at EURO499.

victor & rolf brown hitops
Victor & Rolf high cut shoes in canvas and leather. Ssense is carrying it at USD495. For a made in Italy shoes, I think the price is quite justifiable. Some people may think such brown color is hard to match. The more I look at this shoes, the more I feel I have seen it somewhere. I think it's the design which is very similar to the YSL version.

into the jungle
Meet my new love, Paul Smith Jeans Musa with jungle print. The print is actually on a satin-like material with smooth texture and slightly shiny surface, absolutely better than the usual canvas. The jungle drawing is not in symmetry. It spreads across the whole body of the shoes. Both sides are uniquely different.
You could get this from Asos.com.

update: more options of pierre hardy desert boots
As one of the popular online stockists, Colette is really prompt in bringing in new season stuffs. I wrote about the desert boot before in December but now, the new colors with trimming effect and wooden soles are available for grabbing.

pierre hardy lowcut desert boots
Pierre Hardy is always one of my favorite designers. His classic sneakers with trimming effect have been popular. The premium suede Desert Boot is also hot. This season, a low cut version of the desert boot hooks my eyeballs. I like the one with Kitsune's unorthodox touch, playing with the navy and cream white color contrast effect. When buying Pierre Hardy shoes, you shall not be worried about the material used. They are exremely good and lasting and worth every cent you pay for it.
Colette is now selling the original version, while the Kitsune version is available now via endclothing.

paul smith jeans solar trainers
While the e-store at paulsmith website is having great sales now, some items from the SS11 shoes collection have already made their debut appearance.
First impression is important and I am straight away attracted to this "Solar" trainers, built of 100% leather and rubber sole. The off-white body made of slightly distressed leather makes it seemingly more resistant to dirt. The chunky bright red sole is glued to the upper part and I extremely like the contrast effect. There are 7 eyelets fitted with typical striped Paul Smith colorway shoelaces. I hope Club21 bring them in! Priced at GBP155 at Paul Smith e-store presently.
