carven shoes aw12 with vibram soles

Thick soles by Vibram, bi-material patched design and finally the shoe taps which always do a magic touch. The blue version keeps lingering in my mind...

kenzo lace up aw12

Kenzo seems to make a significant return this season with many online stockists carrying many of its items. I am attracted to this lace-ups featuring a very earthy yet shiny color and nice silhouette.

pierre hardy ss12 lace up

Needless to say more, I love Pierre Hardy shoes because the cutting is great and very comfortable to wear. I have seen many lowcut lace-ups from the brand in this ss12 collection. I particularly like the one with some wingtip design. The navy blue versions are all available now at MrPorter.com and TheCorner.com

serious Y-3 shoes

Y-3 makes popular and great looking sneakers and trainers, needless to say more. But how about some really serious looking lace-ups? Last season I have seen some not too bad attempts and the effort continues into this season. These black and white desert boots and lace-ups are some amazing pieces from Y-3 for this season. As you can see they are indeed made of better quality material (some nappa and pig leather). Get them from Y-3 online store if you really like. But certainly, the prices are much higher, understandably for this range of 'more serious' Y-3 shoes.

surface to air ss2011 oxford shoes

I have no doubts for end products coming from the Paris-based label, Surface to Air. In Singapore, there is a multi-label boutique called Asylum which first brings in Surface to Air merchandise, and until now it is still the sole authorised dealer for the brand. Anyway, I chanced upon this nice oxford shoes, available at Ssense.com. The use of leather and suede is, not to say ingenuous, extremely well done for the shoes.

jil sander two tone lace up shoes

Jil Sander oxford shoes in two tones. Love the purple blue patch that embraces the ankle area, achieving great contrast with the dark brown leather. Zappos.com has this fabulous shoes.

D&G two tone lace-up shoes ss2011

SS2011 D&G showcases many low -cut, slip-on kind of lace-up shoes. The idea is not something new as some shadows of a typical VANS are inherently latent. Other labels such as Common Projects also did something similar. Anyway, fortified with dual colors and premium materials, I believe these D&G endeavors are still sufficiently convincing to capture many hearts of D&G fans. They are best worn with no-show socks, paired with shorts or slimmer berms or folded chinos. I don't mind having a pair, especially the red one, if I got spare budget :)
