It is here again, the noted collaboration between Converse and Missoni. I do love this season's colors and prints. After so many seasons, I would say this collaboration is still very successful and never disappoints me. But I am getting a little bored by it and have decided to give this season a miss. If you have not owned before any Converse x Missoni shoes, I think this is a good chance to get one. Available now from Tresbienshop and Endclothing, in very limited quantity.

Yes it is back this season again, the Converse x Missoni, this time in black leather tongue and blue-white(not black, my fault)  wavy print. Look a bit familiar to the black-white wavy print with brown tongue in one of the FW season releases. This popular collaboration has been going on for several seasons and I have a feeling that the heat is little going down. Anyway, sizes are still running out in Tresbienshop. my new converse x missoni

I mentioned before that when I was to purchase them, they were out of stock. Well, after a while when I no longer miss them, they just emerge there waiting for me to own them. I guess I have to have them in possession afterall. The light color version is released as the female version, and it comes in a smaller box. The size tag is also displaying the measurement for men and women. I was told that the FW2011 would be available as well. If you still could remember, the FW2010 ones are in black-white zigzag prints, and the tongues in brown leather. I was informed that for the FW2011, the black-white zigzag prints remain, but the tongues would be in navy. I am equally keen for the FW2011!

heel pull

I always think shoes with a heel pull or heel tap or whatever you call it is gorgeous. It is something small yet could add so much aesthetic values to the shoes. We shall never underestimate the power of this little piece of thing.

Hypebeast lately presented the latest collaboration between Missoni and Converse. This is the third, if I am not wrong, and seemingly the response is unexpectedly huge and warm. The navy blue matched with the signature multicolor stripe pattern can't be wrong in any aspects. I always place this on top of my wishlist but it is so hard to get them. So, now I totally give up.

In 2009,  Comme des Garcons Play x Converse Chuck Taylor shoes have aroused many attentions. Being priced affordably, the beautiful babies have won the hearts of many fashionistas. Hypebeast lately announced the new collaboration between the two again, but this time round, it's Jack Purcell's turn. More interestingly, they have created 2 additional designs, the black heart on black and beige canvas. So far, the images from Hypebeast only exhibit the low cut version. Perhaps in times to come, there would be high cut version as well. Anyway, some of you may not be aware that due to the huge success of the first batch of the collaboration in 2009, there was a second batch of CDG x Converse Chuck Tailor shoes released in 2010. Take a look at the 2 images below. Can you spot the difference?

These nice Chuck Taylors are available at HK now. The details such as the bi-color double-padding at the ankle area and the perforated tongues are impressive twists. Furthermore, they are all priced under USD100!

I have many friends telling me that Converse Chuck Taylors are very comfortable to wear. I cannot deny that. I prefer Chuck to Jack Purcel as the latter caused a lot of pain when wearing despite my several attempts of getting the right sizes. Anyway, we can see that many designers choose Chuck Taylor to work on instead of Jack Purcell, and this is very much epitomised by the success of Converse x Missoni or Comme des Garcons Play x Converse.

Anyway, I came across this Cody Hudson collaboration and I think it's nicely crafted as well. Love the brown very much, and the price is not bombastic at all, at GBP89 (endclothing.co.uk).

When writing this post, I start to recollect the very Converse x Hiroshi which I was so desperate to acquire once but in the eventuality the search remains futile. If you dig through rakuten, you might be able to get your size still, but at a price tag which is not worthwhile at all.
