ss12 jil sander

There is no big surprise from Jil Sander footwear this season, except the snake skin shoes, among those recurrent ones. The bright blue color palette is gorgeous for this season, beside some pastel beige and the unavoidable all black. Big, thick jarring soled boots and lace ups are also one of the key design this season, albeit not so appealing to me. As you can see, the brand is very compromising for all sort of needs from a daring fashionista to a conservative gentleman. You could buy these Jil Sander shoes from the online stockists listed below.

ss12 sandalicious part2

Second part of SS12 sandals obsession. Love the YSL brown with yellow trims. This season I observe that some sandals tend to go thick-soled, with DSquared2 the most representative example. And oh I am not really a fan of suede sandals. Hard to maintain, especially in the humid weather of Singapore. The Margiela sandals come in some unusual material, which to me, looks a little like those chinese funeral stuffs. Not a fan too.

many snakes in ss12

I am not really a fan of snake skin. But these shoes of SS12 boil my blood.

jil sander ss2011 brown gold hitops

This Jil Sander hi-tops is not very "Jil Sander". Absence of any loud logo externally might be something some people find appropriate, rendering your inability to tell which brand it belongs to at the first glance, excellent for people who are not into logo-shouting branded shoes. The use of some 'espadrilles' material in the sole portion is quite interesting. The brownish gold paint seems to enliven the overall design, creating a sheer contrast between the usual matte leather and the shiny part. I quite like this shoes. Available at Zappos.com now.

jil sander minimalist leather shoes

We have seen bright bold colors and flowers from Jil Sander. These SS2011 shoes from Jil Sander are more toned down, with the usual minimalism in design. I love the sandy brown versio, but overall, the lateral views look a little weird.

jil sander two tone lace up shoes

Jil Sander oxford shoes in two tones. Love the purple blue patch that embraces the ankle area, achieving great contrast with the dark brown leather. Zappos.com has this fabulous shoes.

ss2011, blue soles are hot!

I believe replication of styles and designs is inevitable. Afterall, designers are also humans, not machines. Look at these lace-ups in the coming season. Can you tell who the designers are?

nevertheless, no matter how gorgeous they are, I am not really a fan of such lace-ups because whenever I am in such shoes, I tend to slip. I can only achieve the sense of security in these lace-ups when walking on grass or soil.  Perhaps it is really owing to my bad habit of walking.
