Maison Martin Margiela AW!! brown ankle cut sneakers with wool. The brown is not uniform, rendering a rugged overall look. The strap added behind is simply ornamental I think. givenchy aw11 urban sneakers

I am now quite careful when buying Givenchy sneakers. This is due to the variation in the cutting that somehow slipped my mind in the past, impulse driven apparently. Yes, not all Givenchy trainers come with sleek cutting. My beautiful grey  "Tom" highcut is one good example.

However, this newly released "Urban" Sneakers from SSENSE looks quite sleek due to its slimmer cutting. The use of different grey tones and material textures, even  the shoe lace in bluish grey,  does make the overall appearance interesting. Anyway, this highcut model, I believe, is recurrent. I remember seeing something as sleek too in the past few collections.

maison martin margiela aw11 highcut sneakers in dark grey

Maison Martin Margiela recurrent high top sneakers is in dark grey for AW11. What I love about this high top is that there are some patent parts incorporated into the leather body, so that the grey outlook does not appear to be too monotonous. The grey also appears in different tones at different parts. I already own one in dirty yellow and I need to tell you this, Margiela's shoes are very comfortable to wear!

adam kimmel aw11 green wool hitop

Green shoes are extremely hot for this AW11. Adam Kimmel high top sneakers in black leather and green wool is an interesting attempt. I am sure wool is not so easy to maintain but this material is just inescapable in many AW11 items. You could get this at Tresbienshop.net now which is also offering free worldwide shopping for a limited period. Made in Italy.

acne aw11 mercer lea sneakers

I think this Acne black leather high top looks quite unique from the side where you could not see any laces. The design is such that there are two layers of leather on each other laterally via bullets. Made In Italy accordingly, and you could get this from SSENSE.com now. I saw the low cut version at TheCorner.com too. But I still think the high cut version is nicer.

You may say them Visvim shoes are very "Converse-inspired". Named "Skagway:, this model is in fact recurrent because of its popularity. I have to admit that Visvim workmanship is impeccable and quality control is there. These multi-patches Skagways in denim and suede materials are made in Japan, according to Colette.fr

fifth avenue shoe repair white high cut

Full leather high cut trainers from Fifth Avenue Shoe Repairs for AW11. I like the use of white and beige. Both colors give a overall eye catchy appearance. The only draw back would be the design, which somehow makes me not to think of other brands such as Raf Simons, Givenchy and Y-3. SSENSE.com carries this now.

Striking red color suede and leather hi-top from Viktor & Rolf for AW11 collection. Quite a few details on the shoes. I like the little rounded logo embossed at the heel.  Not many stockists carry V&R shoes. You could buy this from ForwardForward.com if you like.

dior homme black leather hi-tops aw11

Black leather Dior Homme AW11 hi-tops. There are many great details on this shoes. The leather buckle and the white lining. The sole has a thin white layer too. I realise that I do not have any black hi-tops (I mean, real all black hi-tops) so perhaps it's time to look out for one. Farfetch.com carries this now.

more balenciaga aw11 sneakers

Another 2 versions of hi-tops from Balenciaga for this season. The black one in the top has a green tongue which you could not visualise from this side view, while the below one has a purple one. The black version is not something I will go for, but the white version does trigger my impulse a bit. I have seen myself the black version at the local store, Club21 Men and I would say if you are intending to buy a pair of black sneakers, it would make a great choice.  As you might have known that these are recurring models. I have myself acquired one in black-orange combination. There is always a good reason to await the release of the next season if you do not like the colors for the current season.
