what's on my feet today...

Debuting my Dior Homme high cut in Navy. I thought initially I wanted the white version but I think this blue version is great too. HK TVB star Michael Tse got one in white.

dior homme black leather hi-tops aw11

Black leather Dior Homme AW11 hi-tops. There are many great details on this shoes. The leather buckle and the white lining. The sole has a thin white layer too. I realise that I do not have any black hi-tops (I mean, real all black hi-tops) so perhaps it's time to look out for one. Farfetch.com carries this now.

dior homme blue high cut

Another great hunt from sales SS11. Dior Homme Blue Hi-tops in leather and canvas. This high-cut design is something I don't have and it is good to own one. You can find the AW11 full leather version at Luisaviaroma now too, at EURO499.

my new dior homme classic red strip

I've always wanted to get a pair of Dior Homme classic design which is based on the German Army trainer contruct. Every season, DH will release this in various colors, including the evergreen white with silver strip version that never undergoes seasonal sales. Luisaviaroma is now carrying the latest SS2011 batch, made of grey canvas, beige suede leather and rubber sole. I think those colors are too soft for me. I think my red strap from AW2010 batch which just arrived yesterday from Restir is so much better!

reconstruction or destruction?

Sometimes I dare not step into any Zara stores because of these "amazing" discoveries! I do not mind if chukka boots or desert boots or mountain boots look similar as they afterall embrace an intrinsic "functionality". I am pretty astounded by the "inspiration". I like the positive saying of "Inspired by..." blah blah, but you know what I mean in actuality. Well, this is not something new. I believe many fashion bloggers have blogged a lot of such "Zara Inspirations" in apparel designs as well.

Nonetheless, I still step into Zara, for stuffs other than shoes.
