strong red viktor & rolf hitop

Striking red color suede and leather hi-top from Viktor & Rolf for AW11 collection. Quite a few details on the shoes. I like the little rounded logo embossed at the heel.  Not many stockists carry V&R shoes. You could buy this from ForwardForward.com if you like.

san francisco part three, the shopping loot

One good thing about shopping in a multilabel boutique is that you get to see all kind of brands. To be precise, Barneys, Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Macy's Men are more like a multi-label boutique "mall" rather than just a "boutique" which sounds a little small in scale. Among all these, Barneys has got the most and best collection of all. When you are inside, your rationality will give way to impulsiveness.

victor & rolf brown hitops

Victor & Rolf high cut shoes in canvas and leather. Ssense is carrying it at USD495. For a made in Italy shoes, I think the price is quite justifiable. Some people may think such brown color is hard to match. The more I look at this shoes, the more I feel I have seen it somewhere. I think it's the design which is very similar to the YSL version.

victor & rolf steel blue dress shoes

My attention and affection for Victor & Rolf is growing. SSense is now carrying this fabulous looking, made in Italy dress shoes. The blue is so called 'steel blue', with a tinge of metal grey. The smooth wooden sole looks solid. I guess I have to one day relinquish the belief and fear that such shoes will be slippery.

victor & rolf leather dress shoes

When I first glimpsed at the shoes, I got the feeling that it would be very comfortable to wear because there are lateral elastic patches. I do not have something like this because I need to run around and sneakers are best for me. But this dress shoes indeed captured my attention, but not to the extent of dying to acquire them yet, at least at the moment. The lace holes are unique and the cutting seems impeccable. Available now at ssense.com at USD565, but I do hope Club21 brings them in so that I can have a try on them.
