I would say Lanvin shoes have been fashion forward, trend setting and increasingly innovative in design. These few high tops are very 'boots' like and so apposite for the fall winter. Leather patches are textured differently all over. Personally I like the last one in the row with red soles. Available now from Lanvin eStore.

aw12 lanvin lowcut nubuck brown

Lanvin patent tip suede lowcut sneakers have been a popular sought-after. How about this one in non-patent-tip similar design but in brown nubuck and maroon sole? The perfect color combination for fall winter season. Now available at Tresbienshop, which just started to carry Lanvin this season. Check out too the Lanvin desert boots in grey soles which I also adore. One thing I don't really like about this lowcut shoes is the comfy level. It might not fit as comfortable. But this might be just an individual issue.

ss12 sandalicious part2

Second part of SS12 sandals obsession. Love the YSL brown with yellow trims. This season I observe that some sandals tend to go thick-soled, with DSquared2 the most representative example.And oh I am not really a fan of suede sandals. Hard to maintain, especially in the humid weather of Singapore. The Margiela sandals come in some unusual material, which to me, looks a little like those chinese funeral stuffs. Not a fan too.

lanvin ankle high brown trainers with orange stripe

This Lanvin looks gorgeous in brown suede and the orange stripe adds a striking element to the overall luxurious look. The details such as silver piping is another big plus point. I would say this is another well-done Lanvin shoes.

Love the rich colors of this pair of Lanvin hitops. The purple suede is really captivating my heart.

lanvin scuba boots aw11

The 'scuba boot' design is not unprecedented for Lanvin.  In SS11 we have seen one in black-red.  I have never witnessed this shoes in real but I believe the cutting would be quite slim and sleek. Not on my wishlist though, but I believe some people will find it very interesting.

my new lanvin hitops

Lanvin is always my all time favorite. This hi-tops has got many colors and after struggling for a while to pick which best fits me, I got this brighter color. ( no more dark color shoes for me! )

lanvin patent tip

I already own the maroon, the beige and the black tip versions but I don't mind owning another patent tip of Lanvin. Available at MrPorter now, this range of Lanvin is made in Portugal, not Italy, and that explains why the price is not so steep.


ps. after further scrutinisation, it seems that this pair is the same (or maybe very similar) as what I already have. But I need to dig out where I placed it. ha.

lanvin scuba hitops

This Scuba Hi-tops from Lanvin is available at Matchesfashion at the price close to GBP500. This is really something unusual from Lanvin and to me, a great surprise. The intermixed use of leather and the 'scuba material' (perhaps neoprene?) is quite intelligent and innovative. Not many designers dare to use such 'scuba' material. I remember a few seasons ago Raf Simons did.

These leather and canvas lace up shoes from Lanvin are casual and serious at the same time. I love the leather tips and the canvas made slightly worn out. Matchesfashion has the brown one while Brownsfashion carries the black version.

This is something I never expect Lanvin will do. Woven leather intertwined into a net-like design covering the body of the shoes. This is definitely eye catchy and you don't need bold colors to make a statement. Available at Colette at EUR450.

Lanvin high brown ss2011

Something unusual from Lanvin. The brown and olive green washed leather is actually quite autumn- winterly. But this season I do see many brown or tan color stuffs. This might just last you till the next season conveniently. Available now at Matchesfashion at GBP417.
