Thick soles for Fall Winter can't be wrong. These Acne thick soled Vibram soles are made in Italy and I had a chance to slip them on. Very comfy and definitely oustanding. But you have to pay for a Made In Italy price. Available at EndClothing

ss12 sandalicious part1

Which one do you like? The Pierre Hardy and Neil Barrett are recurrent models, with the latter come in some interesting textured material this time. I personally saw the Acne ones and I quite like it. Not forgetting the Kris Van Assche one too.

acne carlo lowcut

I have no doubt over Acne's workmanship of shoes. These SS12 lowcut 'Carlo" shoes are simple yet interesting due to the bi-tonal, bi-material look. I tried on the black one when i was in Blackjack Bangkok last month. Gorgeous and extremely comfortable I would say, and almost had it in my possession but no eventually because white color is my preferred color, which they did not have at that time. Also, I could not find the print saying where the manufacturing country is. The SAs at Black Jack were so kind to help me check out but to no avail. Yes, for the kind of pricing I hoped it is made in Italy but I guess afterall it is not. TheCorner and MrPorter carry these SS12 Acne sneakers now.

acne aw11 mercer lea sneakers

I think this Acne black leather high top looks quite unique from the side where you could not see any laces. The design is such that there are two layers of leather on each other laterally via bullets. Made In Italy accordingly, and you could get this from SSENSE.com now. I saw the low cut version at TheCorner.com too. But I still think the high cut version is nicer.

acne sneakers ss2011

Acne has impressed me with these sneakers for this spring summer. The local multilabel stockist Club21b in Singapore also carries this label. Despite Acne's reputation in making jeans with immaculate cutting, the shoes crafted by them are equally stunning. My pick would be the indigo blue color version, high or low.
